We know the various benefits of coconut oil as nourishment and replenisher. It has an immense moisturizing effect on damaged hair and makes it softer. To prepare this mask, boil coconut milk with some curry leaves for a few minutes. Then, leave this mask to rest and cool for 2-3 days. Then, apply it gently to the scalp and the ends of your hair and cover it with a warm towel. Leave this on for about 30 mins until it gets completely soaked in. Make sure you rinse it off with lukewarm water and a very little shampoo.

– Gelatin acts as a protein source for replenishment of damaged hair by coating it and making it silkier than shinier.

To prepare this home remedy:

  • Mix 1 tablespoon of gelatin with 1 cup of warm water.
  • Leave it aside for 5 minutes to partially set the gelatin.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and 6 drops of essential oil, such as jasmine, lavender, clary sage, or rosemary to the preparation and stir.
  • Apply the mixture to clean hair.
  • Rinse it off after 10 mins

  • Whip an egg white with 2 tablespoons of tepid water.
  • Apply the mixture to the hair and scalp.
  • Massage with the fingertips in circular movements for a few minutes.
  • Rinse the hair with cool water and then shampoo.

  • Add half-a-cup of plain yogurt to 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 6 drops of essential oil.
  • Mix together thoroughly.

  • Rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water.

Due to special properties of the fruit, banana works efficiently in preventing split ends, softening the hair, and improving the elasticity. With the help of their rich potassium content and hydrating abilities, bananas can make the hair smoother, softer and shinier.

Mash a banana and apply it all over from the roots to the tips and leave this on for about an hour. Then, rinse it off with lukewarm water.
